Finding old friends

I wish that mr Jafar Bebehani will read this mail .
I was in Kuwait some 10 or 15 years ago enjoying the friendship of a fantastic guy , mr Jafar and of all the other riders that on Friday morning were gathering themselves for the weekly ride.
It was really a good time and I bought a Ducati 916 SP3 and an HD 883 from Desert Star.
I think I was the only Italian riding with the group, so I hope that somebody remembers me.
I should be from 10 to 16th of july in Kuwait for a business trip, and I’ll be very pleased to meet some of the old friends.
If mr Jafar will read the mail I’ll be pleased if he can send me a message with the mobile number.

Well Mr.RICCHETTI if your Ducati had a “Fast By Ferracci” exhaust system then i remember you, and am sure a couple of the guys who used to ride in that group do remember you….nothing has changed we are still riding and racing like kids and then stop for coffee to start lying about who beat who 
.
Am sure Mr.Jaffar well be reading this post and will be replying, we would love to see you when you are back in Kuwait.

Donuts Day
Saturday is now officially Bikers Donuts Day, every Saturday Donuts are served at TriStar in the morning and at Bike World in the evening…Dunkin Donuts, Tea Nescafe at TriStar, Krispy Kreme and drip coffee at Bike World.
It’s a nice gesture form both dealers to bring bikers together, you get to get together with fellow bikers and chat about bikes of course share experiences, latest adventures, bike modes, etc.
Yesterday i went to both gatherings, and today i noticed that i did not eat anyting other than Donuts yesterday and i only eat plain ones!!!
Oh and don’t miss the South African round of the WSBK today at 1pm.
California Superbike School
I always get emails asking about motorcycle riding training, track days, and advanced training…some emails are from people who never been on a motorcycle and others are from people who has been riding for years, for those who has never been on a bike before, there is TriStar Motorcycle Academy….they offer a 7 day training program that teaches the basics of motorcycle riding and safety, students will learn balancing, throttle control, breaking, and cornering…the skills learned is enough to pass the riding license test and get you riding on public roads.
After riding on public roads for a while, riders can either do track days or join a riding school to enhance their ridding skills.
One of most reputed schools is California Superbike School, and fortunately we don’t have to go all they way to the US or Europe to attended any of their 5 programs…the school has been operating at the Dubai Autodrome for more than 5 years, and now at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, they offer 4 levels of training and private coaching..riders can get their own bikes or just rent one from the school.

Hypermotard 796
The 796 Hypermotard is almost a clone of the its big brother the 1100, but KG5 lighter… the nice thing about the 800cc engine is that it revs a bit more than the 1100cc, and the power is easier to control while trick riding.
Both the 796 and 1100 are available at TriStar.
