I got back this morning and went strait to the office..the trip was really exciting, and the best part is that you get to see and feel the real thing, watching, reading, and listing to the media can be very very deceiving…i was really impressed how the country is well developed, clean -no litter, very polluted thou- and how its people work hard to make a living…

People from all around the world come to do business..am gussing i was the only tourist at the hotel, it was full of  business people and you can hear their conversations while in the lobby having coffee.. its all about business deals

This is a country with more than 50 percent of it’s population under the age of 25, so u can imagine the energy ….it’s in the air, you feel ashamed of saying i’am tired or Mali Kholg…

The young generation doesn’t like the restrictions imposed on them by the governing system but they do find a way around it and when you say the US might wage a war against Iran they would laugh and make fun of it…you can name almost any international brand name and you’ll find it there, but made in Iran licensed by the brand it self.

Tehran is huge and the traffic is very bad, that’s because its surrounded by mountains that keeps fresh air away especially in winter…the pollution is really bad, people listen to the radio before leaving home in the morning as they maybe advised to stay home because the pollution rate has reached a dangerous level.

Take a look at the area between the 2 red lines on the photo above -click to enlarge-, that area is Tehran and you can’t see it because of the pollution.. usually when it rains or become a bit windy you will see the whole city from where it took this photo.

Another bad thing is that english is not widely spoken so you might have a hard time communicating..but an english word from here, a farsi word from there..topped up with an arabic word you’ll be able to convey a message.

I would like to visit other cities in Iran..as the capital city of any country is not the whole picture.

Recommendation: definitely worth a visit but make sure you have a to do list before going.

We left the hotel to have dinner at Ghahve Khaneh & Sofre Khaneh Rah Ahan , as we were going out of the hotel looking for a taxi..an old man sitting in the passenger seat of a 30 years old Renault 5 waves to us and asks us if we need a taxi, we say yes and hand him the address of the restaurant..he asks us to read it for him because he can’t see clearly !!!

So we did and the adventure begins…

The car can’t go more than 40 km/h and he can’t see beyond 10mtr, he wanted to be nice and start a conversation asking us were r we from..we answer back but he can’t hear us because of his age and the car noise so as a reaction he suddenly slows down to almost a complete stop in the middle of the road trying to figure out what were we saying….and you can imagine what happens to the cars behind us that’s going around 80 km/h, this happened like 3 times then we decided not talk to him so he can concentrate on the road.

Then he falls asleep and the car would stray to the incoming traffic lanes…cars coming form the other direction flash their lights and horn trying to alert him..meanwhile we in the back are enjoying the ride and betting if he will wake up or hit one of the incoming cars…this happened like 6 – 7 times, the best one was when we reached an intersection and our traffic light was red but for him their was no light …he was already asleep..!!! but because the other drivers were alert we managed to survive an accident and walk away with a swear and a rush.

I don’t know how this happend, i was putting my socks on when i noticed it!!

Looks as if i spilled hot water over it

Parks are scattered all around Teharn, these parks are very nice and well organized, and almost like the ones you see in Europe but without the Euro trash…you could easily spend half a day at any either by playing sports, working out, walking, or by just setting on a bench enjoying the scenery and watching the Iranians romancing and enjoying life simple pleasures.

I finally did it and woke up at 6 am, the roads were empty and it only took us 20 min to reach Tochal, the weather was sunny and nice….from there we took the Tele-Cabin for another 30min..up and down..up and down…up and down to the ski slopes, i was surprised to see young European tourists there but i guess when ur into some kind of a sport you take the extra mile to try something different.

A lot of young Irani men and women were also there skiing, mingling, and having fun….for moment it felt like am not in Iran..People here knows how to have fun and in a very discreet and gentle way..no segregation and no one bothers you even if you are a girl and alone..!!

It was a chance for me to have a peek at the Irani girls asses, they have nice chubby asses and engraved noses, am guessing 90% of them had nose jobs.

Conclusion: It’s either am getting old or skiing has never been for me, the rush you get from it is not worth the effort, its really tiring… i’ll stick to motorcycles, bungee, and online shopping for now, with motorcycles you don’t feel tired when ur riding the bike you feel tired afterwords, and that i can handle.

Note: If you need training you can hire a coach that fluently speaks Farsi, French and English !!!

Ok…i couldn’t wake up early to go skiing yesterday -we have time are here tell Sunday-, so we decided to go Bowling at Enqhelab Sport Complex.
The Complex is inside a huge green park, in it is a Golf Course, roller skating ring, like 20 TennisSquash courses, basketball, football, and every think that have the word ball in it, a game arcade, and a 24 aisle Bowling alley, the complex also houses the Olympic Center..the park is huge we managed to see only part of it and i was told that there is a lot more than the above.
You can spend a whole day easily there, if your are not into sports like me you can just walk around relax and enjoy the scenery.

I couldn’t take anymore photos, my camera ran out of battery

It’s 10am i just finshed breakfast and having my morning buzz, i was supposed wake up early to avoid the traffic going to Tushal…but u know what they say:
El noum sultan.
I have to look for Rida our guied we met yesturday and he speaks Arabic.
I also have to go and try to find a USB adapter for the memory card, I forgot the camera cable in Kuwait and i can’t post any of the photos am taking with the camera.
Am using the iphone to post .

Tip number 1: Get your Visa from the embaccy, i have been waiting for 30 min -and still waiting- to get one at the Airport.
